1. Who we are and what this covers
NeuBuild is operated by NeuOrigins Mediatek Private Limited (“NeuOrigins”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Notice” referred to in the Terms of Use) explains what personal data we handle when you use NeuBuild, why, who else receives it, and the choices you have.
It applies to the NeuBuild website and its AI idea builder, Project Brief generation, downloads, accounts and the option to send a Project Brief to NeuOrigins. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
2. The data we handle
2.1 What you give us
- Your ideas and conversation. The messages you type to the AI idea builder, any files you attach, and the answers and summaries built from them.
- Project Briefs. The briefs generated from your conversation, including any edits you make, and the project title.
- Details you provide to contact us. When you send a Project Brief to NeuOrigins: your name, email address, and any note you add. When you request access: your name, work email, company (optional) and a note about what you are building (optional).
- Account details. If you have an account: your email address and sign-in credentials. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us in readable form.
2.2 What is created when you use the service
- Saved work. Ideas, conversations and briefs are kept so you can continue later. Without an account they are kept in your own browser. With an account they are also stored on our servers so they follow you across devices.
- Technical and security data. Standard server logs and a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address. We use the hash, not the address itself, to limit abuse (for example, the number of ideas or briefs that can be started or sent from one connection). We cannot recover your IP address from the hash.
- Preferences. Your theme and sidebar choice, and your saved name and email for the “send” form, are kept in your browser.
2.3 What we do not ask for
We do not ask for government identification numbers, financial account details, health information or passwords for other services. Please do not enter them (see section 6 of the Terms of Use).
3. Why we use it

Where the law of your country requires a specific basis for processing (for example consent under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), we rely on the basis shown above, and where that basis is your consent you can withdraw it as described in section 9.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your conversations to build advertising profiles.
4. Who receives your data
We use service providers to run NeuBuild. They receive only what they need for their part of the work.
- AI providers. To generate replies and briefs, the relevant part of your conversation (your recent messages and summaries) is sent to a large language model provider. Depending on configuration this may be Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini) or Groq. These providers process the content to return a response and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
- Hosting and database. Our hosting platform and Supabase (database and authentication) store account data, saved ideas, briefs, and briefs sent to us.
- Email delivery. When you send a Project Brief, our email provider (Resend) delivers a notification containing the brief, the conversation and your contact details to the NeuOrigins team.
- NeuOrigins team. People at NeuOrigins who review submitted briefs and access requests.
- Authorities and advisers. Where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and to professional advisers under duties of confidentiality.
- Business transfers. If NeuOrigins is reorganised or transferred, your data may move to the successor, subject to this policy.
Content you have not sent to NeuOrigins is not read by our team as part of ordinary operation of the service, but may be accessed where needed for security, support you request, or legal reasons.
5. International transfers
Our AI, hosting, database and email providers may process data on servers outside India and outside your country. Where we do this we rely on the safeguards available under applicable law and the commitments of those providers. By using NeuBuild you understand that your content may be processed in those locations.
6. How long we keep it
- On your device. Saved work stays in your browser until you delete the idea, clear your browser data, or use the delete option in the app.
- In your account. Kept until you delete the idea or ask us to delete your account.
- Briefs sent to NeuOrigins. Kept for as long as needed to review and respond to them and for any resulting relationship, and afterwards for as long as reasonably needed for record-keeping, security and legal purposes.
- Security data (IP hashes, logs). Kept for a short period consistent with abuse prevention and security needs.
- Records of acceptance. When you send a brief we keep a record of which version of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy you accepted and when, for as long as we keep the brief.
We keep data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
7. Cookies and similar storage
NeuBuild uses only what it needs to work:
- Sign-in cookies set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in.
- Browser storage (local storage) to remember your saved ideas, theme, sidebar state and the contact details you used to send a brief.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser at any time; doing so removes work that has not been saved to an account.
8. Security
We use measures appropriate to the service, including encrypted connections, access controls on our database, and limits on automated abuse. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we will act and notify as the law requires.
9. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct or update inaccurate data;
- erase your data or your account;
- stop processing, or withdraw a consent you gave, with effect going forward;
- nominate someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to; and
- address a grievance about how your data is handled.
You can delete ideas yourself in the app. For anything else, write to hello@neuorigins.com. We may need to confirm it is you before acting. Some data may have to be kept where the law permits or requires, for security, or to deal with legal claims. If we cannot resolve your concern you may complain to the data protection authority that applies to you, such as the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Children
NeuBuild is not directed at children. If you are under 18, please use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and do not send us personal data about children.
11. Third-party sites and services
NeuBuild may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. The AI, hosting and email providers named above have their own privacy policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as NeuBuild or the law changes. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page. Where the law requires, we will give notice of material changes. The version you accepted when sending a brief is recorded against that brief.
